TFT Panels

We work extensively with some of the worlds largest and most well known TFT LCD manufacturers and offer a wide range of products and services for these LCDs.

We are able to offer TFT panels suited to the demanding requirements of various applications. The level of choice may be bewildering so search our panel database to find panels that meet your requirements or contact us to discuss your project.

Please note these lists are not exhaustive and the information may not be the latest available. New panels are being added and the database is updated on a regular basis. If there is any information missing or you know of a panel which is not listed please let us know so that it may be included.

Sunlight Readable
We work extensively with AUO and other major TFT LCDs to offer a wide range of products and services for sunlight viewable LCDs applications. We are able to improve contrast and luminance of standard panels by modifying the LCD construction either replacing or enhancing backlights and/or the use of various optical films in front of the LCD or backlight. Displaze is a Premier Channel Partner for Litemax one of the world leaders in Sunlight Readable Display Technology. Sunlight Readable panels typically need to have a Backlight brightness in excess of 600cd/m2. In full sunlight it is generally accepted you need an equivalent brightness in the region of 2300cd/m2 *cd/m2=nits

Standard
Standard LCDs encompass all TFT LCDs with a brightness of approxiamtely 600cd/m2 or below. Anything above 600cd/m2 can be considered High Brightness and potentiall used where sun light readability is an issue
