We work extensively with AUO and other major TFT LCDs to offer a wide range of products and services for sunlight viewable LCDs applications.
We are able to improve contrast and luminance of standard panels by modifying the LCD construction either replacing or enhancing backlights and/or the use of various optical films in front of the LCD or backlight.

Sunlight Readable panels typically need to have a Backlight brightness in excess of 600cd/m2. In full sunlight it is generally accepted you need an equivalent brightness in the region of 2300cd/m2
